Tecalemit CV3000 On-Truck Brake Lathe. Preparing HGV brake discs as part of an HGV service schedule can increase brake performance in preparation for periodic brake safety checks. Skimming commercial discs has many advantages for Fleet Managers, Operators, Councils and Workshops across the UK. The CV3000 is designed to work directly on the vehicle to machine commercial vehicle brake discs: trucks, buses, and light commercials. It functions on all types of hubs‐ traditional or those with hub reduction. It has an adjustable feed to give optimum surface finish. Optional additional flange adaptors for various stud patterns are also available. Both faces of the brake disc are machined simultaneously. The machine works in any position so the brake caliper can remain in place.
